Chief Master Sergeant Clint Campbell

Chief Master Sergeant Clint T. Campbell is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 24th Special Operations Wing (24 SOW), Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Fla.  He is the principle advisor to the wing commander on the health and welfare, professional development, training, combat readiness, discipline, and effective utilization of the organization’s enlisted personnel. The 24 SOW is comprised of two Special Tactics groups and a training squadron with more than 1,500 assigned special operations Battlefield Airmen and combat support personnel encompassing 58 Air Force specialties.

Chief Master Sergeant Campbell grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and enlisted in the Air Force in August 2002.  He volunteered to be a TACP Airman and attended technical school at Hurlburt Field, Florida.  Upon completion of technical school, Army Airborne School, and Air Force Basic Survival Course he was stationed at the 14th Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS), Pope Air Force Base (AFB), North Carolina, where he remained for 4 years.  Upon returning from his third deployment he chose to cross train into USAF Combat Control. After completion of the two year pipeline, Sergeant Campbell was stationed at the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron (STS), the 724th Operations Support Squadron (OSS), the 321st STS, the 26th STS, and the 320th STS, deploying an additional four times in various special operations mission sets. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 720th STG, Hurlburt Field Fla.
